ForUs Child Safety Standards

Updated: September 16, 2026

These Standards set out child safety in three movements. The first lays down the policy that cannot be traded away: who falls within the protected scope, and what conduct is absolutely not permitted. The second explains how that policy is made real — how the gate is set at registration, how content is identified, and through which channels leads reach us. The third sets out what follows a violation and how information relating to minors is handled. ForUs is published by BBCS Kennedy, with BBCS KENNEDY LLC acting as the operating legal entity. Whether you are a user, a parent, a guardian or a regulator, the three movements may be read in order to grasp the full arrangement.

Chapter 1 — The policy baseline: a line that cannot be traded away

Section 1 — Position and scope

ForUs attaches the highest importance to the safety of children and minors in the online environment, and strictly observes applicable laws and regulations together with Google Play's child safety requirements. This app is a social matching platform intended for adults; registration and use are permitted only to those who have reached the age of 18, minors fall outside the scope of the service, and any access by a minor, any account created by a minor, and any use by a minor of the app's social, chat, matching or interactive features is expressly forbidden. The form in which content appears, the language used and the extent of its circulation offer no grounds for lowering the requirements of these Standards.

Section 2 — Zero tolerance: a position on CSAE that cannot be moved

Towards child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), ForUs applies a zero-tolerance policy. There is no exception to that position, and no exemption follows from the conduct occurring in a private chat, a group, a small-circle share or any other non-public setting. The following conduct is strictly forbidden to users:

Where any conduct breaches these Standards, once such conduct is confirmed, immediate action is taken; the specific handling measures appear in Section 8.

Section 3 — The age gate and the ban on helping others evade it

This app is not open to minors, and adult users are bound in the same way. The following practices are all prohibited: (1) using a false date of birth or any other means to bypass age verification; (2) registering on a minor's behalf by misappropriating an adult's identity details; (3) assisting, inciting or guiding a minor to create an account and enter the platform; (4) supplying a minor with methods, tools or accounts for evading age verification.

Chapter 2 — Enforcement: how the policy is made real

Section 4 — Prevention: keeping minors outside the registration gate

Age verification is the frontmost gate, and the measures below are applied continuously to keep it effective:

Section 5 — Detection: how risk is found

Technical tools and manual review work in combination to keep content and user conduct under continuous management:

Leads touching on child safety are dispatched and reviewed ahead of others, and the reporting party may be told how handling is progressing.

Section 6 — Reporting: two parallel channels

Where you find a suspected minor's account, content involving harm to a child, or harassment or inducement directed at a minor, please submit the lead through either channel below. The two channels carry equal weight and may be used at the same time:

Once a report is received, it will be reviewed without delay and the necessary measures taken as circumstances require.

Section 7 — Cooperation: parents, guardians and law enforcement

A parent or guardian who discovers that a minor is using ForUs may submit the account details and an explanation of the guardianship relationship through the mailbox above, and once verified the account will be handled as a priority. Where a lead is suspected of being criminal, we cooperate with the police and other competent authorities as the law requires and, to the extent the law permits, provide the necessary information and records.

Chapter 3 — Consequences: what follows a violation

Section 8 — Handling measures and the escalation ladder

Handling intensity is matched to the seriousness of the conduct. Measures an offending account may face include:

Every report touching on a minor is taken ahead of ordinary violation leads, and once handling is finished the reporting party may ask us for the outcome; where a duty of confidentiality or the needs of an investigation prevent disclosure of detail, we will explain why. Where a lead points to physical danger unfolding in the real world, we cooperate as the law requires and also suggest that the reporting party contact the local police or a child protection agency without delay.

Section 9 — Handling of information relating to minors

Minors are kept outside the gate, and information about children therefore forms no part of what we deliberately collect. Should misreported details, fraudulent registration or another circumstance we failed to anticipate nonetheless bring such information into our systems, once confirmed the information concerned will be deleted, the account concerned will be restricted from further use of this app, and we will examine related risks so that the same thing does not happen again. The handling process also follows the requirements of the ForUs Privacy Policy.

Section 10 — Third-party safety services and continuous improvement

To strengthen our safety capability, this app integrates third-party services such as ActiveFence (trust and safety intelligence), Hive Moderation (content moderation support) and Persona (age and identity verification). All partners must comply with applicable data protection requirements and process data only within the scope their services require. Changes in laws and regulations, updates to Google Play platform policy and developments in industry safety standards are tracked continuously, and the mechanisms for age verification, content moderation and report handling are improved accordingly.
